In China the pandas are most endangered. A panda weighs about 200 to 300 pounds (90 to 140 kilograms), has a white heavy body, black legs, and a broad band of black across its shoulders. It has a massive round head, short snout, and small, round black ears. The panda has a white face with black patches around each eye. The panda usually grows to about 5 to 6 feet (1.5 to 1.8 meters) in length, measures 4 and a half feet high, and has a short tail. These pandas are very big animals. Sometimes people use these pandas as experiments. They try newly discovered medicines or chemiclas on the pandas. Due to this, the pandas are now in great danger.

The other most endangered animal iis the tiger. Tigers have been hunted heavily by humans over the past few years. The tiger population in the Indian sub-continent has declined seriously in the past fifty years. Nepal has only two hundred tigers, while India has about four thousand, a serious decline from the past figures. China and Korea are the biggest criminals as far as tiger poaching is concerned. In the nineteen hundreds, the entire tiger population was more than one lakh. However, today the global tiger population is less than ten thousand animals. The tigers aremainly found in the regions of asia.
The picturre here shows a white tiger which is also rare. When I read this page: http://www.theinsite.org/earth/earth_es_tiger.html I knew that there were many laws hada been enforced in protecting animals. This picture shows a mother tiger taking care of her cubs.
Tigers are one of the Earth's fastest disappearing species. At the beginning of this century there were about 100,000 wild tigers. Today there are less than 2,500! Originally, there were nine subspecies of tiger - 3 of which are now extinct. The 6 remaining tiger species: Amur (Siberian), Malayan, South China, Indo-chinese, Royal Bengal and Sumatran all have very shaky futures.
So please help in savin these beautiful species of animals.

The whale is the most beautiful and the lrgest mammal on earth. The whales are also endangered. They are being killed everyday. In the 1800s, almost 200 whales had been killed. The whales fat is used in making soaps, precious oils and other cosmetics. The picture on the left is a Bowhead whale being slaughtered. These men do not cre for the whales. They only care for there lives. When I realised that if these men continue to slaughter whales and usse them, there would be no whales living for the next generation

When I thought about endangered species of animals, I thought that there were no organisations helping animals, but when I browsed this page http://www.kidsplanet.org/factsheets/esa.html

I understood that there were many organisations supporting animals, caring and helping them. These organisations are important because there are millions of species either endangered or threatened across the world. This image is showing the major animal species being extinct in different continents. For example, elephants in Africa, Pandas in eastern Asia, Tigers in western Asia, Cheetahs South America, etc.

Today, in this world, many animals are killed or abused for our resources. Some people kill animals for sport or entertainment. All the nations are trying to stop this useless killing. There are many organizations hosted in many countries like P.E.T.A in India, etc. many countries have laws passed on the banishment of poaching or killing of animals. Some people kill animals for bones, skin and other organs.
